WELCOME TO JAM BROOK FARM

WELCOME TO JAM BROOK FARM ❂

Each project receives individual attention & artistic expression.

We hope to find beauty in our work.

Life long learning is a part of our career.

Our crafts are timeless & relevant.

We are stewards.

We keep the past in mind & care for the future.

This looks like using natural or repurposed material.

Prioritizing repair over buying new.

HOW DID WE GET HERE?

Jam Brook Farm is an 1850’s farmhouse in Midcoast Maine. Daniel and Sara Beth serendipitously called this place home in 2021 after vegetable farming throughout New England. We are situated on a dirt road in the village of Searsmont with Jam Brook, our name’s sake, hugging the property.

We acknowledge we are on Wabanaki land, People of the Dawnland. While colonial history, treaties and policies have removed the Wabanaki from their ancestral territory, the Wabanaki are the past, present and future caretakers of the land. We promote truth-telling of our convoluted history. This reflection is also a call to action to know and support Wabanaki culture and the healing journey of land reclamation.
